I'm a cousin, who attended the Franceski reunion back in June with my family. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael. My family and I spent some time sitting and taking to Michael at the dinner. We got to know him and you Bernice. He spoke so highly of you and our shared love of animals.. I am so shocked and deeply sorry to hear of his passing.. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.

With love

Words like, Rock, mentor, brother, Life guide, best friend, and True North come to mind when the name Mike Franceski is mentioned. His massive Dent in the Universe is the vibrant and ever-lasting example of how to live a Life, fulfilled.

By his servant leadership, Mike illustrates what grand adventure Life awaits those with curiosity, a willingness to stand up, explore, and embrace the findings by the by. Perhaps more than anything else, he shows us that having authentic appreciation for each step along the journey ensures a richly-rewarding outcome. The outcome being the special memories that we all have and get to now share as a result of joining him along his journey are his parting gifts. Mike’s warm smile, enthusiasm for what lies ahead, and unspoken faith that everything will be amazing in the end are all we need.

To this we say, thank you, uncle Mike. We will carry on from here because you showed us that everything will be amazing in the end.

With humility, gratitude, and love,
Monty, Mami, Ike, Hudson, Kiki, and David

There are no words to express how sad we are that God chose to take Mike Franceski so soon. It was obvious that he loved life, his friends and his family. He will be the angel that guides PSU to their next victory.
My heart hurts for you, Bernie.
