About Us

The Kevin M. Lesjack funeral home is Forest City’s only locally owned and operated full service funeral home.  Funeral Director Kevin Lesjack is a 1994 graduate of Forest City Regional High School, a 1999 Graduate of Kutztown University, and a 2001 graduate of Simmons Institute of Funeral Service.  Kevin earned his funeral director’s license in 2002.

Kevin is a member of the Forest City Lions Club and a member of Mount Hermon Lodge #472, Union Dale.  He also serves as treasurer and a coach in the Forest City Little League. In 2004, Kevin married his wife, Melissa (Jeannette), formerly of Morris Plains, NJ.  They have two boys, Owen and Reed.  Kevin and Melissa are members of Ascension Parish, Forest City.

A resident of Forest City, Kevin grew up in the funeral business working with his father at the former McGranaghan-Lesjack Funeral Home, Inc. Kevin purchased the family owned business in February of 2007 and re-named the business the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home.

In January of 2019, a new funeral home was built after a fire destroyed the previous building along with three other commercial buildings in town.

Kevin blends the best of the local traditions he learned working for his father and for other regional funeral directors with the lessons learned working for a short time at a large multi-location funeral business in suburban Philadelphia.
