Joseph J. Christina

Joseph J. Christina, 74, of Sterling died Friday at home. His wife is the former June Ammerman.

Born August 11, 1942 in Carbondale, son of the late Joseph and Marjorie Brown Christina. He was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School and served in the US Air Force. Prior to retirement, Joseph worked for RCA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and will be greatly missed.

Also surviving are sons, Brian Christina and wife Kris, Vandling; Scott Christina and wife Laura, Clifford Twp.; Tom Hineline and wife Michele, Sterling; sisters, Joan Greenlaw, TX; Jean Zigon, Carbondale; and Ann Wagner, Vandling; a brother Cricket Christina, Browndale; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Also preceded in death by a sister Kay Costanzo.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 – 11am with a blessing service at 11 in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Interment will be private.
