William Joseph Connor Obituary

William Joseph Connor, 69, of Pleasant Mount, died Tuesday morning at home. His wife is the former Barbara Urbas. They were married for 39 years.


Born June 8, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence and Rose Seney Connor. He was a member of St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. A graduate of Forest City High School, prior to retirement worked for Western Union International and Moore Business Forms. He was a member of NEPA Rail Trails and he helped make pierogies at St. James Church. He liked to hunt and enjoyed traveling. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


Also surviving are sisters, Kathleen Connor, Pleasant Mount, Mary and husband James Reeder, Allentown, Patricia and husband Scott Mader, South Amboy, NJ; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Connor, Hohokus, NJ; brothers-in-law, John and wife Ann Urbas, Old Forge and Tom and wife Rhonda Urbas, AZ, nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by a brother Robert;


Funeral will be Monday at 9:30 from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. Interment St. James Cemetery, Pleasant Mount.
