Veronica Kranyak

Veronica Kranyak, 105, formerly of Richmondale and Bridgeport, CT, died Thursday morning at Kindred Care Nursing Home in Elizabeth City, NC. Her husband Michael Kranyak died in 1977.

Born March 11, 1909 in Richmondale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph John and Elizabeth Semen Trella. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Elizabeth City, NC.

Surviving is a daughter Kathryn Grahn, Stratford, CT; a sister Frances Russillo, Newton Lake; Three grandchildren; Four great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Joseph, Jack, and Michael Trella; and 5 sisters, Anna and Mary Supko, Barbara Davey, Margaret Trella, and Rose Myshak.

Funeral will be Monday at 10:00 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Forest City. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 am until service time.
