Twila P. Ritchey

Twila P. Ritchey, of Forest City, died Sunday at the Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center. Her husband of 50 years is the late Blair W. Ritchey.

Born June 9, 1932 in St. Michael, she was the daughter of the late Fred E. and Kathryn Almond Gray. Twila was a graduate of Adams Township High School. She had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Portage, Community Bible Church, Portage and East Gadsden Baptist Church, Gadsden, AL, and was an active member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.

Twila is survived by her children Dr. Blair A. Ritchey, Allen, TX, Terry E. Ritchey, Gadsden, AL, and Cynthia Jean, wife of Paul Benarick, Forest City; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. A brother Fred W. Gray, Portage, several nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by an infant daughter Tracy and a brother William Hicks.

The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of the Forest City Personal Care Home and the Forest City Nursing Center for the wonderful care over the past 3 years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Gideons International, PO Box 71, Ebensburg, PA 15931.

Friends will be received by the family at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage, on Thursday, July 3 at 11:00 am with a memorial service to be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Blue Knob.
