Thomas C. Zigon

Thomas C. "Zig" Zigon, 53, of Uniondale, died Thursday morning at the VNA Hospice Unit, Scranton.

Born June 5, 1958, in Carbondale, He is the son of Mary Sardinski Zigon, Forest City, and the late Clarence Zigon. He was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School, and was previously employed at NEP Telephone Co., Forest City and most recently Grimm Construction, Waymart. Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he liked to tinker in his garage. Most of all he enjoyed helping others. He was a loving father and son and will be greatly missed.

Also surviving are two daughters: Justine and husband Andrew Burrell, Browndale, and Sara Zigon and Josh Wasylyk, Honesdale; a sister Joan and husband Stephen Balog, Springfield, VA; a nephew Marcus and a niece Valerie.

Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.

Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 pm.
