Teri Trusky, 59, of Forest City, died Saturday evening at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer . Her husband of 38 years is Robert Trusky.
Born April 19, 1955, in Carbondale, she was the daughter of Betty Zenewicz Lowry, Forest City and the late Jim Lowry. Teri was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School and previously worked for Fitzsimmons Insurance Agency, the Forest City Library, and R.B. Fries. She was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City where she volunteered for the church, including coordinating its annual Thanksgiving dinner. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her two puppies Louie and Precious. She was a loving wife and best friend, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Also surviving are children Jennifer Pearson and husband Jason, Clifford; Aaron Trusky and wife Nicole, Chambersburg; two grandchildren Avery and Liam; a brother Bob Lowry and wife Rita, Browndale; sisters Debbie Thompson-Lockett and husband Phil, Binghamton; Carla Lowry, Forest City; and Barbara Mihelc and husband Buzz, Forest City; an aunt Ruth Trella and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceded by an infant sister Karen.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment St. Anthony's Cemetery, Forest City.
Viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
