Suzanne P. (Murnock) Chisek

Suzanne P. Chisek, 74, of Browndale died Thursday at home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Joseph M. Chisek, who died in 2012.

Born in Carbondale and raised in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late George and Vida Majhen Murnock. She was a graduate of Forest City High School and had been employed for many years by the Fitzsimmons Insurance Agency, Forest City.

Suzanne was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City and she was a history buff , enjoyed baking, hunting for recipes and walking her dog, Daisy. Her greatest love and pride and joy were her grandsons.

She is survived by a son, Joseph D. Chisek and wife Connie, Browndale, two grandsons, Austin Chisek, Browndale and Zachary Chisek, Susquehanna, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 2nd at 10:00 am in Ascension Parish, St. Joseph’s Church, 741 Delaware Street, Forest City.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City.
