Steve R. Mikloiche, Jr, 84, of Vandling, died Friday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife Lorraine died in 2001.
Born August 31, 1937 in Dundaff, he was the son of the late Steve and Eva Parker Mikloiche. Steve was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Forest City. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machine operator at Eureka Stone Quarry. Steve liked to watch Wheel of Fortune and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.
Surviving are a son Steve Mikloiche and wife Missy, Vandling; a daughter Nicole Mikloiche, OH; a grandson Stephen Mikloiche; sisters Dorlene Pencek and Rose Brink; nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by brothers Pete and John and a sister Eva “Tootsie” Mikloiche.
Viewing will be Wednesday 9 – 10:30am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with a blessing service at 10:30 in the Funeral Home by Father William McGinty. Interment in Union Dale Cemetery.
