Stanley Adam Kalasinski, 62, of Forest City, died Tuesday evening at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born August 14, 1947, in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Stanley and Catherine Zataweski Kalasinski. He was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School, He attended Our Lady of Snows Church in Clarks Summit, and before he was retired he worked for RCA for 30 years in Picture Tube Production. He was an Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Clarks Summit VFW. He enjoyed fishing and he loved his dogs. He loved to go swimming with the kids and barbequing on the grill. He will be deeply missed all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the ICU Staff at Geisinger for their wonderful and considerate service.
Surviving are four children, Amy Kalasinski, Latham, NY, Danielle, Julianne, and Jonathan Kalasinski, Clarks Summit; 2 Brothers Paul and wife Diane Kalasinski, Forest City and John Kalasinski, Forest City; 2 sisters Veronica and husband James Price, Honesdale, and Lucille and husband Elmer Miller, Carbondale; a granddaughter Brianna Kalasinski; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Kalasinski, and a nephew Patrick Thomas O'Hara.
Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, and Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
