Sandra A. Cordner

Sandra A. Cordner, 62, of Montrose, died Tuesday evening at Commonwealth Hospice, Scranton. Her husband is Russell Cordner.

Born October 30, 1952 in Susquehanna, daughter of the late Howard and Esther Fisk Cobb. She was a graduate of Susquehanna High School and prior to retirement she worked as a Susquehanna County Corrections Officer. She loved watching the birds and squirrels in her yard and she enjoyed sewing.

Also surviving are two sons, Russell Cordner and companion Lisa Seibert, Manheim; and Jason Cordner and wife Kelly, Montrose; two brothers, Bill Cobb and wife Bonnlyn, SC; and Calvin Cobb and wife Patricia, Thompson; a sister, Sharon Cobb, Allentown, seven grandchildren, Russell, Devin, Claudia, Katarina, Eva, Rylie, and Makayla.

Funeral will by Saturday at 12 pm in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with services by Pastor Phyllis Hunter of the Thompson United Methodist Church. Spring interment in Thompson Cemetery. Viewing, Saturday morning from 11 am until service time.
