Philip A. Peake

Philip A. Peake, 63, of Uniondale, died Saturday evening at home after an illness.

Born October 31, 1951, in Hancock, NY, he was the son of the late Francis and Katheryn Milk Peake. He graduated from Delaware Valley Central School, Callicoon, NY. Prior to retirement Philip worked on the oil rigs in Wyoming. He also did bridge construction in New York, and roofing and siding jobs. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and making homemade ice cream with the kids. Most of all he was a good neighbor who liked helping others. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two sons, Jason Peake, CO; Derek Peake and wife Jenna, GA; two sisters Teresa Creech and husband Thomas, Lake Ariel; Connie Moran and husband Jim, GA; three brothers Gary Peake, Long Eddy; Patrick Peake, Long Eddy; and Eddie Peake and wife Doi, NM; three grandchildren, Ryan, Dustin, and Sara; nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by a sister Victoria Brigham and a brother Bruce Peake.
