Peter Stachura

Peter Stachura, 32, of Starrucca, died Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born December 16, 1981 in Danbury, CT, he is the son of Stanley Stachura; Tennessee and Gudrun Zuenskes, Carbondale. He was a graduate of Carbondale High School, class of 2000 and an officer for the Forest City Police Department and the Uniondale Police Department. He was an Army veteran and a MP in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed hunting and going to the shooting range. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends

Also surviving are two sisters Kelly and Cynthia; two nieces, Sky and Abigail; and 3 nephews, David, Will, and Matt.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 5:00 pm from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, PA. Visitation from 3:00 pm to service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Peter Stachura Memorial Fund c/o any Honesdale National Bank.
