Patricia M. Wildenberg of Union Dale died Friday, January 28, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 68 and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry C. Wildenberg. Pat and Hank would have celebrated their 44th anniversary this year.
Patricia was born in Passaic, N.J., to the late Andrew and Stasia Wallace. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in both Thompson and Union Dale for more than 15 years.
Patricia was a devout catholic and an accomplished artist. Some of her paintings can be viewed at the Clifford and Forest City Historical Society. She took much pride in beautifying her family homestead. Her natural talent with plants, trees and flowers provided color and joy from spring through fall. A skilled craftsman, she enjoyed restoring family heirlooms and found antiques, crocheting, and crafting with scrap and reused materials. She also displayed her artistic ability through her exceptional baking. But her greatest joys were family gatherings and spending time with her children and grandson.
Patricia was resolute in her beliefs. A protective and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was the center of her family circle. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Patricia is survived by her son, Andrew Wildenberg of Union Dale; her daughter, Raina Beth Koren, son-in-law Andrew Koren, and the light of her life, grandson Henry John Koren, all of Watchung, N.J.; her sister, MaryAnn Bowen of Browns Mills, N.J.; a nephew, Russell Peltz; and nieces, Stephanie Peltz, and Courtney Bowen.
A celebration of life for Pat and Hank is planned for later in the spring.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 739 Delaware Street, Forest City. Visitation at the church from 9:30am until Mass time.
Arrangements by the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St, Forest City.
