Patricia "Patty" Wagner, 59, of Forest City died Saturday at home after an illness.
Born November 25, 1951, in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Stanley A. and Mary Kowalick Meheltz. She was a graduate of Forest City High School, and previously worked as store manager for Tobacco Road in Forest City. She was a NY Jets football fan and she enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Burton. She liked to go to the races at Penn Can with James Wagner, and at one time owned a modified car there. She was also a cat lover. Patty will be greatly missed.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate care in her final days.
Surviving are two sons, Ben Houman, Browndale and Kevin Wagner, Forest City, three granddaughters, Adeline, Arcadia, and Lilly Ann; a sister Dolly Cherneski, Browndale, and a brother Stanley Meheltz, Jr., Vandling.
Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
