Patricia "Patti" Garrick

Patricia "Patti" Garrick, of Vandling died Sunday after an illness. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Joseph Garrick.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Trelc Polensek. She was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School, Class of 1962. She was retired from the Paper Magic Group where she had been executive secretary for 25 years.

Since retiring she and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country. She also enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Beautz and husband Joseph, Simi Valley, CA and Antoinette "Toni" Oakey and husband Al, Greenfield Twp., also an "adopted" sister, Sally Miller and husband Bob, Englewood, FL, 9 nieces and nephews, 9 grand nieces and grand nephews, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother John, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 4th at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 612 Hudson Street, Forest City.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the church Wednesday 9 am until Mass time.
