Michael Tumelavich

Michael Tumelavich, 55, of Carbondale, and formerly of Richmondale, died Monday morning at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville.

Born September 19, 1958, son of the late Edmund and Mary Kovalik Tumelavich. He was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School and a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Forest City. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed walking and watching movies. Michael was also a talented guitar player.

He is survived by several cousins including Michael Kopcho, Endicott, NY; Paulette Andzulis, Athens; Edmund Brezgowski, Carbondale,; James Caveston, Carbondale; Helen McFarland, CA; Charlene Best, CA, Darlene Arroyo, CA; and other cousins in NJ.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother Edward.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with Divine Liturgy at 10 in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, to be celebrated by Monsignor John Sekellick, pastor. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Richmondale.
