Mary Petronchak

Mary Petronchak, 84, of Starlight, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She is married to Andrew Petronchak, Starlight.

Born July 18, 1923, in Vandling, she was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Kunovar Majdic. She attended Vandling schools, was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Forest City, and before retirement she worked as a crossing guard. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of her life.

Also surviving are three sons, William, West Milford, NJ, John, Vernon, NJ, and Robert, Independence, NJ; two brothers John Majdic, Vandling and Henry Majdic, Vandling; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Saturday at 9:30am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment will be private. Viewing Friday from 6 - 9 pm.
