Mary (Capone) Dell,Aquila

Mary Dell'Aquila, 70, of Poyntelle died Christmas morning at home. Her husband is Michael Dell'Aquila. They were married February 20, 1971.

Born November 2, 1950 in Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Carmela Capone. She attended Ascension Parish and prior to retirement worked as a bookkeeper for the Nassau County Bridge Authority. She was a loving mother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Dell'Aquila and wife Sheri, Honesdale, PA; a daughter Michelle Dell'Aquila and husband Matt Reed, MD; grandchildren, Aldo, Jr., Anthony, Gina, Madeline, Matthew, Michael, and Max; a sister Josie Sellitto, Canada; and a brother Angelo Capone, NY.

She was preceded in death by a son Aldo Dell'Aquila and a sister Palma Facciolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visitation will be private at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
