Marian P. Rushen

Marian P. Rushen, 95, of Forest City died Friday evening at her home.

Born in Carbondale on March 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Matircho Rushen. She graduated from Forest City High School and attended the University of Scranton. She retired after 37 years, as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service. Marian was a member of Ascension Parish, where she did book work and volunteer work for many years. She enjoyed playing golf and traveling all over many countries.

She is survived by her caregivers Patti and Sam Laguzzi, who took care of her for the last six years.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 739 Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
