Maria Mazzenga, 88, of Lake Como, died Sunday at home. She was the wife of the late Alberto Mazzenga who died, February 6, 2007.

Born December 17, 1920, in Settefrati, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giacinto and Rosaria Policella Socci. She was a member of St. Juliana'a Church, Rock Lake. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are four sons Gerardo, Lake Como; Antonio, Hawley; Remo, Forest City; and Giacinto, Dyberry; two daughters, Anna Noll, Fallston, MD; and Rita Leet, Thompson; a brother Vincenzo Socci, NY; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Antonio Socci.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Juliana's Church, Rock Lake.

Entombment in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

Viewing will be Tuesday from 5-8 pm.
