Margaret "Peggy" (Poloncic) Suhosky

Margaret “Peggy” Suhosky, 86, of Forest City, went to her loving lord Sunday May 2nd, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Her husband Donald “Don” Suhosky died in 1996. They were married on September 8, 1956.

Born February 7, 1935, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late John and Angeline Franceski Poloncic. She graduated from Forest City High School in 1952. Peggy lived most of her life in Browndale and Forest City and worked in the manufacturing industry. Prior to retirement she worked for Kartri Sales. Peggy was a member of Ascension Parish and enjoyed helping with church activities in her younger years. Her biggest joy in life was watching her grandchildren who she adored. They brought her much happiness in life.

The family would like to thank the staff at Geisinger CMC and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the compassionate care given to Peggy.

She is survived by four children, Patricia and husband Richard Kresock, Browndale; Judith Sherman and husband Gary, Waverly; Ronald Suhosky, CO; and Lisa Plevyak and husband Jim, Browndale; Four grandchildren, Hanna Sherman, R.J. Kresock, Alex Kresock, and Abygale Plevyak; special friends Ruth Ann and Judy Slish.

Also preceded in death by a brother John Poloncic.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Friends may visit a half hour before mass. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.

Memorial contributions can be made in Peggy's name to Ascension Parish, Forest City.
