Margaret C. Foster, 87, formerly of Uniondale, died Sunday morning at the Forest City Nursing Center. Her husband Philip Foster died in 1988.
Born June 25, 1925, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Wysocki Seprosky. Marge grew up on Susquehanna Street in Forest City. As newlyweds, Marge and Phil made their home in Uniondale, moving first to Binghamton, NY followed by transfers to Pittsburgh and Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, picnicking at Lake Lorain, and being surrounded by family. Marge was a member of the Uniondale Phoenix Club and volunteered with the American Red Cross and Uniondale Fire Company.
Surviving are 2 sons, Daniel Foster and wife Margaret, Endicott, NY, and Patrick Foster, Uniondale; two daughters, Carol Dorsey, Cincinatti, OH, and Marilyn and husband Roger Templon, Altoona; a sister Celia Seprosky, NYC, and a brother Joseph and wife Mary Seprosky, Forest City, 5 grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, Joshua, Justin, and Michelle; and a great granddaughter Isabella; a sister-in-law, Marie Cross, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Constance.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 741 Delaware St, Forest City with a viewing at the church from 9am until mass time. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City.
