Margaret V. (Yakely) Arnold

Margaret V. Arnold, 94, of Forest City and formerly of Sidney, NY died Monday morning at the Forest City Nursing Center. Her late husband is Ernest Arnold.

Born December 29, 1930 in Forest City, she is the daughter of the John and Frances Yakely. She was a graduate of the Forest City High School and worked at the A&P in Forest City and later the Sidney Federal Credit Union, Sidney, NY. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Sidney, NY and Ascension Parish, Forest City.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by her brothers John, Frank, Edward and William Yakely.

A memorial mass will be Saturday at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church. Visitation, Saturday, from 10:30am until mass time. Cremation is through the Kevin Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
