Lucy Garrick

Lucy Garrick, 96, of Pleasant Mount, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Her husband George Garrick died May 25, 1990.

Born March 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Sadie McCormick LeStrange. Lucy graduated from Pleasant Mount High School. She was a member of St. James Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a caring, kind, and compassionate woman who took a lot of pride in her home. The caregiver to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a son George Garrick, Jr. and wife Shirley, Prompton; a daughter Margaret Garrick, Rehobeth Beach, DE; nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by sisters Mary Arrigan and Agnes McCormick; and brothers Hubert, Leo, and James LeStrange.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. Interment St. James Cemetery. Viewing on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
