June Booths

June Booths, 87, formerly of Carbondale, died Thursday morning at the Forest City Nursing Home. Her husband was the late Frank E. Booths who died in 1986.

Born July 9, 1926 in Carbondale, daughter of the late Evan and Helen Davis Coles. She was a graduate of Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale, and Hahnemann School of Nursing, Scranton. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church of Carbondale. Her life was devoted to her family and grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at the Forest City Nursing Home for their care and compassion given to June.

Surviving is a son Kurt Booths and wife Judy, Forest City; two daughters, Bonnie Skrutski and husband Anthony, Daytona Beach Shores, FL; and Deborah Jaskowiec and husband Leonard, Mayfield, a brother Donald Coles and wife Margaret, North Ridge, CA. 3 grandchildren: Brock Daniels, Jacqueline Booths and Brittany Booths, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother Stuart.

A graveside service by Rev. Dale Pepper will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
