Julia Kulikowski

Julia Kulikowski, 95, of Lakewood, died Friday morning at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the widow of the late Frank Kulikowski who died in 1982.

Born April 2, 1915, in Lakewood, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Malinski. Julia attended Crosby School, a one room school house in Lakewood. She was a member St. Juliana's Church and it's altar and rosary society, Rock Lake. Julia was employed at NJY Camp in Lakewood up until last year and Camp Onibar and Geneva prior. All together she was there for 72 years. She also enjoyed crocheting and playing BINGO. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived a son Frank and wife Beverly, Lakewood; Two granddaughters Beverly McGraw, Forest City, and Laurie and husband Kenny Shino, Honesdale, a grandson Tom Kulikowski and wife Robyn, Lakewood; 4 great-grandchildren, Julianne, Madison, Tommy, and Dayle; a brother Tom Malinski and wife Hilda, Lake Como; two sisters Celia Reiter, Binghamton, NY, and Dolly Petroski, Jackson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Edmund, Gene, and Walter Malinski and a sister Dolores Brooking.

Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am from St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. Interment in St. Juliana's Cemetery, Rock Lake.

Viewing on Monday from 6-8 pm.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Julia's name to St. Juliana's Church, 612 Hudson Street, Forest City, PA 18421.
