Judy M. Mead, 69, of Carbondale, died Thursday afternoon at home.
Born January 27, 1956, in Hancock, NY, she is the daughter of the late Leroy and Thelma Decker Mead. Judy worked as a nurses aid at the Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center prior to retirement. She liked to play BINGO at the Carbondale senior center. She enjoyed traveling on cruises. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter Crystal (Raymond) Ondrako, Carbondale; two grandchildren Katrina and Raymond, Jr.; seven siblings, Norman (June) Mead, Joe (Linda) Mead, Rachel (Charles) Hunt, Roseleen (Edward) Whitmore, Larry (Nancy) Mead, Tony (Lisa) Mead, Teddy (Audrey) Mead, and Fred (Joan) Mead; nieces and nephews.
Also, preceded in death by five siblings Bentley, Raymond ”Buck”, Leo “Hoss”, Kieth “Tuffy” and Debbie Mead.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 26 at 10:45am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Friends may visit 9am until time of service.
