Jr. Tasso, Joseph P.

Joseph P. Tasso, Jr. 53, of Browndale, died Saturday evening at home. His wife is Virginia Brienza Tasso. They were married on June 28, 1975.

Born March 29, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Catherine Cillis Tasso, Vandling and the late Joseph A. Tasso. He was a graduate of William E. Grady High School, Brooklyn, NY, a mechanic and supervisor for the Department of Transportation for 18 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Forest City, an avid bowler who bowled for Siepiela's John Deere bowling team in Forest City and Carbondale. He enjoyed hunting and watching NASCAR. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by three children Teresa, James, and Jenna Tasso, all at home, and a granddaughter Anastasia; two brothers Anthony Tasso, FL, and Ted Tasso, NY, and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Proceeded in death by a son Joseph Tasso, III.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City. Viewing Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
