Joann M. Durst, Carbondale and formerly of Forest City, died Tuesday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born May 4, 1959 in Carbondale, She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Voglino Ondrako.
Prior to retirement she worked as a certified nurses aide at the Forest City Nursing and Personal Care Homes. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and television programs, especially Days of our Lives and the Golden Girls. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two daughters Sandra Rogers, Carbondale and Vicky Rogers, Carbondale; five brothers Richard Ondrako and wife Lorraine, Archbald; Steven Ondrako and wife Linda, Olyphant; Joseph Ondrako, Forest City; Robert Ondrako, Forest City; Raymond Ondrako and wife Crystal, Forest City; a sister Christina Ondrako, Waymart; a grandson Damian Vidmosko; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing and interment will be private at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
Masks must be worn and social distancing rules will be observed.
