Jean M. Obrien-Ehrlich, 75, of Forest City, died Saturday at home surrounded by her family.
Born July 2, 1949 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas O'Brien and Elizabeth Susalis. Prior to retirement she worked in human resources for the McAllister Brothers Tugboats, Staten Island, NY. She enjoyed crocheting and thrifting. Most of all she loved family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She cared for many of her grandchildren over the years. Most recently she cared for her Great Grandson Dominick. She was always there to walk through life with people. Jean would always answer the call and be ready to support her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Lorri Floccari, Scranton; Kelly Byrne, Staten Island, NY; Tracy (Rob) Poalillo, Dallas, GA; Frank (Mary) Floccari, Scranton; and Raymond Floccari, Forest City; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Thomas O'Brien; Dennis (Jackie) O'Brien; William O'Brien; and Kathy Fodrea (Charlie) and a son and daughter in love, Kenneth Byrne and Michele Biggs; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Jimmie Ray Ehrlich.
Services are private.
Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
