James J. Durante

James J. Durante, 52, of Nazareth, PA, died Sunday. He was the son of the late Joseph and Elsie Mattson Durante.

Born July 28, 1957 in Bronx, NY, James was a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School. He was a member of the Catholic Church, a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Jackson and a member of the Elks Club, Lakewood. James was a carpenter and enjoyed building things. He will be missed by his family.

He is survived by three brothers, Joseph, Jr., Lakewood, NJ, John and wife Dawn, Jackson, NJ, and Jeff and wife Doreen, Pleasant Mount, PA; an aunt Betty Curley, Pleasant Mount, PA; 11 nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews.

A memorial service will take place on Friday from 5 - 8 pm at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp, NJ.

Funeral will be Saturday, with a blessing service at 11:00 am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, PA. Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service. Interment in St. James Cemetery, Pleasant Mount.
