Jake Beautz, 23, Uniondale, died Friday evening from injuries suffered from a motorcycle accident. His companion and the love of his live is Ashley Marquez.

Born June 12, 1986, in Scranton, he is the son of Edmund and Carol Smith Beautz, Uniondale. He graduated from Forest City Regional High School and later Penn College, He worked as a contractor with his father and was a member of Wivey's Golf League. He enjoyed volleyball, wake boarding, snowboarding, dirt bikes, skydiving, and boating. Jake loved spending time with his family and friends, he lived live to the fullest and his smile could light up any room. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Also surviving is a brother Steven, maternal grandparents Colon and Polly Smith, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Stanley and Nancy Beautz.

A celebration of life will be Wednesday at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City, Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Thompson. Friends are asked to go directly to the church.

In lieu of flowers a rehabilitation fund has been established for Ashley Marquez. Contributions can be made at any office of Community Bank and Trust Company.

Public viewing will be Tuesday at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, from 5-8 pm.
