Jacqueline Ann Thiem

Jacqueline Ann Thiem, 52, of Uniondale, died Monday evening.

Born March 24, 1961, in Sydney, NY, daughter to the late John and Lillian Howard Saam. She was a graduate of Mountain View High School. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for Genisis Health Care at the Carbondale Nursing Home. Prior to that she was the assistant branch manager for Community Bank and Trust in Forest City.

Jackie loved spending time with her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving is a husband Raymond W. Thiem, Uniondale; a daughter Stephanie Branning and husband Jason Stockertown; seven sisters. Ruth Carmody, Elizabeth Feyerabend, Kathy Feyerabend, Joan Hall, Sherri Spencer, Lisa Eltz, and Brenda Martin; and seven brothers Michael, Daniel, Gary, John, Barry, Phillip, and Randy Saam; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Stephen Saam.

Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.

Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 10 am - noon.
