Irene C. Fields

Irene C. Fields, 88, Jensen Beach, FL, died January 23rd in Florida. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Fields who passed away on July 16, 2009.

Born September 23, 1921 in Forest City, daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Novak Cempre. She lived in Jensen Beach, FL for 34 years , coming from Kenya, Africa. She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, The Martin County Golf Association, and the Stewart Woman's Club, all of Jensen Beach. She was a former, North Carolina and South Carolina State Ladies Skeet Shooting Champion. She traveled all over the world and she liked playing bridge and golf. Irene enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by her family.

Surviving is a son Robert and wife Barbara Fields, Vandling; four grand children, Robert, David, Jonathan, and Kathryn; four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother John Cempre.

A mass of Christian Burial took place on January 25th in St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Florida.

A graveside service will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
