Henry J. Carter

Henry J. ”Harry” Carter, 49, of Forest City, died Wednesday morning at Allied Hospice, Scranton.

Born April 4, 1975, in Brooklyn, NY, he is the son of the late Harry and Patricia Cumberland Carter. Harry was a 1993 graduate of Forest City Regional High School and worked for Mikloiche Timber and Construction, Forest City and Stafursky Paving Company, Archbald. He enjoyed riding, fishing and snowmobiling. His biggest joys were spending time with his family.

He is survived by his companion of over 20 years Jennifer Hawm; a son Conor Hawm; daughters Caile and Bella Carter; a brother Jeff Carter; sisters Patricia Hunt and Carrie Ransom, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Carter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23th, from 5 – 8 pm in the Kevin Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Burial will be private.
