Gerdine B. Ludwig

Ludwig Gerdine, 84, of Browndale, died Friday evening at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale.

Born August 14, 1926, in Browndale, he was the son of the late Bernard and Theresa Verboys Gerdine. He was a woodworker by trade and he enjoyed playing cards with his good friend Rose Morris, Vandling.

He is survived by a brother Sam Gerdine, Richmondale and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother bill and sisters Rose Skiba, Angeline Macera, Betty Mechelc, Helen Murnock, Mary Sealy, and Jennie Zedar.

Ludwig requested private services.

Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesajack Funeral Home, Forest City.
