Frank D. Korty

Frank D. Korty, 61, of Ararat Twp, died Wednesday evening in Traditional Home Health and Hospice at Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born November 22, 1952 in Passaic, NJ, He was the son of the late Frank and Tannie Szetz Korty. He was a 1970 graduate of Forest City Regional High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to retirement, Frank worked as a truck driver in the petroleum industry. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by 8 brothers and sisters, Bruce Korty and wife Brenda, Montrose; Jesse Korty and wife Liz, Dunmore; Dennis Korty and wife Marianne, Uniondale; Mary Jane Jadick and husband Greg, Little River, SC; Lisa Korty, Forest City; Barbara Kozlevcar and husband Bill, Uniondale; David Korty, Pleasant Mount; Robert Korty and wife Tammy, Forest City, 15 nieces and nephews.

Cremation was through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, PA 18421.

A memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
