Frank Cyzeski, 52, of Forest City, passed away at his home on Sunday morning.
Born on February 1, 1973, in Carbondale, he was the beloved son of the late Frank J. and Ann Clark Cyzeski. Frank was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School and the University of Scranton.
A man of deep faith and quiet generosity, Frank was a devoted member of Ascension Parish, where he served faithfully as a Eucharistic minister and lector. His career as a microbiologist with Becton Dickinson gave him the opportunity to see the world and was marked by dedication and excellence until his retirement.
Frank found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting, and he took great pride in his garden. He loved hot peppers and roller coasters [especially with his sister and niece] and his quiet life in Forest City in the house he grew up in.
He is survived by his sister, Dr. Margaret Cyzeski and her husband Mark Hambleton, of Timonium, MD; and his cherished niece, Annika Hambleton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Parish, St. Joseph’s Church, 741 Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
