Frances D. Gerstel

Frances D. Gerstel, 83, of Forest City, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Her husband Guy died July 5, 2010. They were married on December 1, 1951.

Born November 15, 1930, daughter of the late Rudolph and Mary Zedar Kamin. She was a graduate of Forest City High School and a member of Ascension of Our Lord Parish, Forest City. She was also a member of the Forest City American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons Gerald, CT, and Guy, Forest City; a daughter Gale Casini, MD; 3 grandsons and 2 grand daughters; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Rudolph Kamin and a sister Mary Pelletreau.

The funeral was private with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
