Frances (Poterjoy) Donovan
Obituary
Frances Donovan, 78, of Browndale, died Saturday June 24th in Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center.
Born March 10, 1945 in Carbondale, PA, Frances was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (O'Block) Poterjoy. She was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City and served in the United States Navy. She retired as food service manager from the Forest City Nursing Home.
She is survived by sons Bill Donovan and wife Janet, Owego NY, Sean Donovan and wife Debbie, Petersburg, VA and Brian Donovan, Shippensburg, PA; grandchildren, Karleigh, Zack, Will, Kaci, Jake and Nicole; sister Marge Burrell, Uniondale, sister Marianne Cocchiaro and husband Frank, Houston, TX, brother Frank Poterjoy and wife Nancy, Vandling, PA, sister Carolyn Lodato and husband John, CT, and a sister-in-law, Felecia Poterjoy, Browndale; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a brother Carl Poterjoy
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday August 26th at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
