Earl L. Valentine

Earl L. Valentine, 91, formerly of Browndale, and a resident at Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington, NJ died Tuesday morning. His wife, Anna Valentine passed away in 2015.

Born January 20, 1928 in East Branch, NY, he was the son of the late Floyd and Ina Belle Miner Valentine. Earl was a member of Ascension Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was enjoyed bowling in the Forest City Men's Bowling League and playing golf in Wivey's League. Earl was a hard worker and took care of his family.

Surviving are three children, Joseph Valentine, Mt. Carmel; Patricia Longworth, Hickory, NC, and Michael Valentine and wife Alicia, Gillette, NJ; two brothers Harvey and Robert; and two sisters Marie and Hilda; grandchildren, Judy, Timothy, Allison, Susan, Brian, Lindsey, and Cynthia; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by three brothers Richard, James, and Glenn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City followed by interment in St. Agnes Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 9-10am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
