Dorothy Kuruts

Dorothy Kuruts, 90, of Forest City, died Saturday morning at the Forest City Nursing Center.

Born March 6, 1925, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Susan Yuskanic Kuruts. Dorthy was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City. Prior to retirement she worked for the Office of Dependency Benefits, New Jersey. She was a resident at William Penn Apartments in Forest City for the last 13 years. Dorothy enjoyed bowling and rollerskating in her youth. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by a sister Marian Vozel and husband Butch, Browndale and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph, Sylvester, Michael, James, Edward, and John; and a sister Claire Fitzsimmons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Viewing will be Monday from 5-7 pm in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until mass time at the church. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.
