Dolores “Dee” Tersigni Slater, 72 of Browndale, died Wednesday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born March 9, 1949, in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Roseria Librizzi Tersigni. She was a graduate of Miami Dade Junior College. Prior to retirement she worked as an LPN, with a majority of her career at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Florida. Dee enjoyed traveling, visiting many places in the US and Europe. She liked to make family recipes, including a fantastic lasagna. No matter how sick Dee was, she would still do anything for anyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer and husband John Picheco, FL, and Lauren Slater, Simpson; grandsons, Andon and Quinton; Special friends, Ruth Peterka, Rudy Peterka, and Madison McCracken; four brothers, Michael and Patricia Tersigni, NJ, Raymond and Joan Tersigni, FL, Joseph and Mary Drago, FL and James and Toni, NJ; nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by a brother Mario Drago; two sisters Patricia Tersigni Horvath and Antoinette Drago Kearns; and two nephews, Peter and Michael Tersigni.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 739 Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment will be private.
