Dolores Planinsek

Dolores Planinsek, 82, of Hampton, VA, died Thursday morning at Sentra CarePlex Hospital, Hampton, VA.

Born October 19, 1929, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Peskur Planinsek.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving is a sons, Leonard Barron, Hampton, VA; and a daughter Barbara Stefanow, Mayfield KY; a sister Claire Reiner, Scranton; 4 grandchildren Sarah, Valerie, Christopher, and Amanda; and 2 great grandchildren Jack and Emily, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Rev. Henry Planinsek, Frank and Lawrence Kotar; two sisters, Frances Puchnick, and Mary Fellis; and a grandson Stephen.

Funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Internment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City. Viewing, Tuesday morning from 9 - 10:30 am in the funeral home.
