Deborah Trusky

Deborah “Deb” Trusky passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore after a courageous battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and complications thereof.

She is survived by her brothers Robert and Christopher (Kelly) and sisters Donna and Maria (Jeffrey), as well as several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Teresa, father Thomas, and sister-in-law Teri.

Her godchildren Jennifer Pearson and Johnluke Koslosky along with grand-nieces Annalise and Gabriella Pearson brought her great joy.

Deb will always be remembered for her generous and loving heart, her love and compassion for animals, her passion for theatre and singing, and her many loyal friendships. She was an independent and passionate woman who loved decorating for every holiday in a big way and had the tote boxes in her garage to prove it.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 13 at 8:30 am in St. Joseph Church in Forest City followed by funeral mass at 9:30 am. Internment will be at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Forest City at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Deb requested that donations be made to your local animal shelters.
