David M. Cavalieri

David M. Cavalieri, 21, of Vandling, died Friday evening in an automobile accident.

Born May 14, 1994, in Scranton, he is the son of Kimberly Cavalieri, Vandling and David F. Cavalieri, Scott Twp. David was a graduate of Forest City Regional high School and attended Penn State for two years. He enjoyed playing sports, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. He loved snowboarding and the outdoors. He was an overall good kid that would do anything for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Also surviving are maternal grandmother, Margretta Peterlin, Vandling; paternal grandmother Virginia Cavalieri, Scott Twp.; a brother Tyler Clift, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather William Peterlin and a paternal grandfather David Cavalieri.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Viewing will be Thursday from 4-7 pm in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.

To honor David Cavalieri's life, a scholarship fund has been set up. Contributions can be made in his name to First National Bank 521 Main St. Forest City, PA 18421. This scholarship will be awarded to a student-athlete at Forest City Regional.
