Obituary
Charles A. “Bud” Peter, Jr, 95, of Pleasant Mount, died Friday May 27, 2022 at Aventura at Creekside, Carbondale.
Born September 21, 1926 in East Rockaway, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Maude Dehlman Peter. Bud was a member of St. James Church and Katherine Drexel Parish, Pleasant Mount. He was a Navy veteran and prior to retirement he worked as a funeral director in Long Island.
He is survived by a nephew Chris Kohnken and wife Tracy, Sag Harbor, NY; a godson and great nephew Robbie.
He was preceded in death by a sister Lillian Lorraine Kohnken.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday June 18th at 10:00am in St. James Church, 361Great Bend Tpk, Pleasant Mount. Interment will be private. Cremation arrangements are through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St, Forest City.
