Celia "Sis" Treven

Sis Treven, 86, formerly of Forest City, died Saturday morning at the Balanced Care Bloomsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, with her husband, John Treven, by her side. They were married for 60 years.

Born December 28, 1926 in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Curtz Fararo. Sis was a graduate of Forest City High School and a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Church and Ascension Parish, Forest City. She cherished her friends and family and loved to be with people on her front porch. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are two sons, John Treven, III and wife Mary, Dallas; and Gary Treven and wife Denise, Bloomsburg; a brother Francis Fararo, Sleepy Hollow, IL; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, John, and Mary Lynn; 2 great grandchildren Ayla and John; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Jack.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Viewing on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.
